PDF Star weaving instructions – download and print

We’ve created a simple star weaving PDF of instructions for you to download and print.

These instructions also come in our 100 star weaving kits.

Remember, you can create your own materials by cutting strips of paper or you might be able to buy some tear / florist ribbon at your local craft store.

You can repurpose wrapping paper or paper catalogues in the mail. You might even have a flax / harakeke plant in your yard that you could cut length wise . Make sure to discard the rib and weave with the leaves.

Which ever materials you use, you will need to prepare 4 lengths to make your 8 pointed star. 

The wider your lengths are, the longer your strips will need to be. A general rule of measurement is a length of 3cm wide x 45cm.
